Black King in Check, How?

The bottom left corner is a White Rook. Two spaces to the right is a White Bishop. Two spaces further to the right is a White King. Two spaces directly above the White Rook is the Black King in check.

The Black King is in check by both the White Rook and the White Bishop. If White had just moved the Rook, then the Black King would already be in check by the Bishop, and conversely, if the White Bishop was just moved, then the White Rook would have already checked the Black King. But then how did this scenario come about?

For those unfamiliar with the rules of chess, here is a brief tutorial.

The only solution I can see is if the orientation of the board is such that the black side is at the bottom and the white side is at the top (i.e. the A1 square is in the upper right). Then the moves would have gone something like this.



There was a white pawn on G7 blocking the bishop check, and also some black piece on H8. The white pawn takes the black piece and is promoted to a rook. This lands the discovered on the black king from the bishop while giving the double check from the rook.
